OHAI

First of all: Hello to anyone who might be reading this. I realise that right now pretty much nobody will be reading this, but hopefully as time goes on a few more people would have heard of me, and will be posting comments and reading a few things. Well, I can dream at least, right?

I would like to say that i’m completely new to the whole blogging thing. While i’ve been on web-forums and such for at least 5 years (Probably longer than that) this is my very first blog. Exciting, eh?

So, a little bit about me, I suppose. I’m 17, my birthday is the 26th August. I left high school earlier this year, but started to do an NVQ to be an IT Practitioner (Which is basically an IT Technician). I’ve recently completed my Level 1 course and i’ve just started my Level 2 NVQ.

I try to be open minded to new concepts, and I try to avoid hating something “just because” it’s Apple, or it’s Linux, or even if it’s Microsoft.

So, this’ll probably wind-up being a tech blog, but i’ll probably post a whole manner of things. We’ll have to wait and see I suppose.

And by the way, I live in the United Kingdom, this means i’ll be spelling things properly the British way. That said, i’m aware that my spelling and grammar isn’t perfect, but I try my best. If you notice a spelling mistake, feel free to point it out (if you want to), just try to be respectful about it. Nobody likes an arse.

So, I suppose that with this being a tech blog and all, i’ll list some of the tech things that I own:

  • Xbox 360 – I use this thing on a daily basis. Yes, I play Xbox Live quite a lot. If you want to play, feel free to send me a friend request. My Gamertag is Pokeh. If that doesn’t work, send a request to my friends list overflow account a Pogeyman and use the “friends of friends” feature to give me invites.
  • Nintendo Wii – I admittedly don’t use this very often, if at all. It doesn’t impress me very much right now, and if I you think I can remember my friend code you must be ‘avin a larf.
  • iPod Touch – I love this thing. It’s only got 8GB but that’s enough for me. Being able to surf the internet when I don’t particularly want to go on the computer is a good conveniance for me. I don’t like iTunes though.
  • A computer – “Well duh”, you must be thinking. It’s a custom build with 2GB of RAM, a 2.4GHz dual-core processor and an nVidia GeForce 8800GT. I’m slowly getting in to PC gaming, but I despise using a mouse and keyboard for shooters.

That’s all I can really think of posting right now. If you have any questions feel free to ask by posting a comment (yes, I will read them) and i’ll answer them (if any) in a future blog post.

Thanks for checking this out. I’m going to have a tinker around to see what I can do with my shiny new blog. Expect to see changes like different themes and stuff until I find something I like.
